They created the sets, such as “Parting of the Red Sea”, “Moses’ Tent”, “Mount Sinai”, “The Dessert”; eating “Manna” a.k.a. Corn Flakes, & “Quail” a.k.a duck shaped sugar cookies. The scenes were adorned with realistic
looking handmade Palm Trees, table ware that resembled that time period, and many more props giving the entire project such an authentic feel. We
are so grateful for Mary Lawn who is the Project Leader/Coordinator, for her organization & vision as Mary spearheaded this entire program. Benjamin
Stadnick, giving his all with his creative carpentry talent. Ben designed the “Red Sea” set complete with a fan to spray water onto the children as they
passed through the “parted Red Sea”. Donna Stadnick & Joanne Pigeon with their artistry and administration side of the project and also their all
around support in all stages of the project. Alison Lawn for teaching the children about the Sacraments in her little classroom, and also Alison
played a key support role in many aspects. Kelly Celico & Maria Paterno took the reins with the children’s crafts, which gave the campers something
to take home for their own memories of the week. Elynor Lamkins & Joanne Pigeon for keeping track of the children, checking them in & out each day, and making sure they were all where they should be at all times. Joanna Roever & Maryellen Lapere for making sure the campers stayed hydrated and had a snack each day. We cannot go without mentioning Ben Stadnick in his starring role this year as Moses! Bravo! Great job Ben!! Also a special thanks to the 40+ teen volunteers. They lent us their elbow grease the week prior in all set up capacities, such as painting, set design, construction, moving tables/chairs..etc…The week of Camp the teens did a wonderful job in their group leadership roles, leading in song, dance and games. The campers
truly look up to you as role models. Thank you to all other adult volunteers not mentioned here, we are forever grateful. Without all of these very dedicated individuals this wonderful event would not happen! God bless you all!
